High-energy, laugh-out-loud funny, wickedly witty, all-live singing and a ridiculous number of dazzling costume changes. Her celebrity impersonations and twisted pop anthems had the crowd howling, cheering, and singing along, and she pulls the audience in so it feels like we’re all part of the act.Her Tina Turner moment, celebrating a Canadian lesbian couple’s 20th anniversary, was pure joy, and an East Coaster from New Brunswick had us in stitches as we were all reminded that some dance moves definitely need a bit of practice. His comments about Shana Malinsky, his sister by another mother and father 😝 will not be repeated. 😝 😝 On top of the fun, the message really lands. She’s proudly Canadian and had us screaming when she roasted Trump’s stupid idea of making Canada the 51st state. She weaves in Stonewall, LGBTQ trailblazers, the current “state of the states,” and the ongoing attacks on our rights, while reminding us to vote, speak up, and appreciate our straight allies who stand with us.
